Tasuichi in Shibuya

I love it. Most of the time it's crowded as ... but yes. When I was living in Japan it was great. Not sanitary or anything like that but the experience was great!

The crowd was a nice mix of Japanese and non-Japanese, expats, travelers, residents and everyone in between. The drinks were reasonably priced, and everyone was friendly, out for a good time, and seemed open to meeting new people. Both times I've been it has been pretty packed, but I have not had to wait.

There is great international environment as well as the local side in this bar. Always cheap, all staff are friendly and kind...

Cool pub, cheaper beer than others but always really crowded and it's hard to even reach the counter

Mostly a foreigner bar in Shibuya. A great place to meet travellers and to hear a ton of stories. It's a small place, but the atmosphere is great and friendly. Stuck with beer since that's what my friends got for me, next time I'm in the area I'll try other stuff on their menu

The crowded cheap beer place you want to go check-out and experience at least once. Beers are 400¥, but you can also order a liter of beer for 1000¥. There will be no shortage of people to talk to here as you'll likely be rubbing elbows with everyone.

Amazing bar to meet people

The price for the Beer is reasonable. This beer 1liter cost 1000yen super worth it. The staffs can speak good English.If your single and you wish to meet someone local for hook ups or something more, this is the place for you!

The service here is great, workers are very friendly and attentive. I would come early due to the establishment being jam packed around 2000-0200HRS. Everything is PAY FIRST, THEN RECEIVE.( cash on delivery)

What a mess

They have really cheap beer like ¥300 and there’s always an interesting international crowd. Unfortunately sometimes they get those crazy drunks and it’s the only place I’ve actually seen people thrown out of a bar in Japan. Since management changed like a year ago the place has been less of a dive and their food/ interior has become a lot better. If you’re Japanese or just a visitor to Japan come here to meet the locals:)

It was terrible, I overheard the japanese staffs saying bad things about american people, thinking I don't understand japanese. I asked them what they meant about what they said, they acted like they didn't say anything, and after that a staff told me some customer told them I was causing trouble. I said I didn't cause any trouble, I was politely asking them what they meant. but they didn't listen and just kicked me out.not just the customers there but even the staffs are bad. if you wanna join the loser crew, go there.

Cheap, full of foreigners, usually packed on weekends, the best bar in shibuya on a budget.

Really cheap izakaya and large selection of snacks to go with the drinks. Mostly standing tables. Biggest dislike is the amount of smoking indoors and quite a large number of customers causing slight concern during this pandemic period. Staff extremely friendly and pretty attentitive which was nice. Very easy to go Dutch in terms of payment making or convenient for large groups.

Made a lot of friends here, will never forget this amazing place and the amazing staff members! Great prices and the food is just as great

The most unusual bar in tokyo. You'll meet a bunch of very different people there who you'll never see around Japan. The same people but completely different personality.

Mega highball is a mega highball!!! Only thing is place is full of smoke which is bad for health and makes nice clothes smell bad. However this is the place to go if you want to meet a foreigner

Great when with friends, slightly more challenging when operating solo. Still though, a nice place to begin your night on the cheap and watch live football matches, before continuing on your adventure!

Always fun cheap bar

One of the best pubs I have been in Japan. Its is very cheap and the staff are very friendly. The atsmosphere is awesome.

Not expensive beer, crowded, nice mixed people. This strange thing in Japan when you are in a crowded bar, you can leave your money and you phone on the table and nobody will steal it...

I drop by here when I’m too early for the appointment and grab a casual drink to wait for my friends and occasions like that. Foreigner friendly and reasonable price, relaxing atmosphere.

Cheap and good beer, tasty octopus and avocado salad.

Its a standing bar. It attracts a lot of foreigners. Seems to be a mix of people after work, tourist, and Japanese people being the minority. Seems people aren’t too chatty unless its an event (holiday or sporting). It is mostly men that are trying to be chatty with women type of atmosphere. Or just groups to themselfI live near here and come here every mow and then. As an asian male the way people talk to me is different if Im with a female. So people don’t talk to me too much. Or if I try to start up some covos people are cold. So I just come here for a quick plum wine

for what it is, highly recommended. Nestled underneath the stairs which lead to record store haven, Technique, Tasuichi is a no-nonsense stand bar with cheap drinks. The happy hour extends til 7 or 8 (I can't remember) where beers are just ¥300. You leave the money in a small ramekin on your table. As it is standing only, it encourages people to mingle and get to know each other. The only gripe I have about this place is the tiny toilets and the run-of-the-mill pop music that's played - but I expect it, the bar is meant to appeal to most people across the board. I will be back!

Got a sour drink about 300 yen, tasty. Good music but they allow smoking in the bar.
